Daybreak helps victims of domestic violence gain social and economic independence through shelter, advocacy, and referral to community resources and agencies.
The shelter provides refuge for victims and their children when their lives are in imminent danger. The temporary shelter allows escape from violent situations in a discreet location. Although the shelter is temporary, guests will be provided with comfortable accommodations with their food, clothing, and hygiene needs met.
Awareness, education, and prevention are major goals of our organization. We strive to prevent domestic violence through education and public awareness. You will find posters, brochures, pens, and other information about us in doctor's offices, government buildings, and other public spaces. You can also contact us to set up a presentation for your workplace or group!
We offer great flexibility within our program for victims to set their own goals for themselves and their children. We help them work towards those goals with the support of our trained and professional staff of advocates.
Daybreak does not discriminate in the provision of services on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, ethnicity, age, or LQBTQ+ status.
